To start the day we head to Santana, where we will start the walk to Pico Ruivo.
We choose a easier way to take you to the amazing highest viewpoint of Madeira Island.
Following a footpath, we go up and down along the mountains until we reach the Summit of Pico Ruivo at 1861m of altitude. Walking above the clouds the views are breathtaking!
If waking up is not a problem we invite you to join us to watch the sunrise above the clouds!
Then we will make a quick stop to lunch and, head towards the more east point of the Madeira, Ponta de São lourenço.
The walk takes place on a footpath along the coastline of the peninsula of São Lourenço.
The views are amazing!
