Go to Cabo Girão on the southern coast, where a glass-floored viewing platform was installed, the Cabo Girão Skywalk is the highest in Europe. Then, travel to “Quinta Grande”. riding our Buggy through Terreiros, Lugar da Serra and Fontes, start the difficult ascent to the “Chao dos Terreiros” (1436 m) to Trompica florestal house again in the dirt roads to Fonte dos Burros from where you can observe the Serra D’água and Encumeada from above, and all the mountains around them. A little more far away we can see a part of Paúl da Serra and its wind farm. Going down we can come across some cows that usually graze the site.
